7 Neutral-organic Spring Décor Ideas to Refresh Your Home

Published February 28, 2023 I HOME DECORATING

Spring is just a few weeks away, so it’s super worth it to make even tiny adjustments to your décor and furniture to usher in the spring season and make your home look extra special!

In this post, the focus will be about refreshing the space with a natural and neutral look than in adding bold colors. Read our 7 neutral-organic spring décor ideas to create a space that’s cheerful yet calm.

The Neutral-organic colors of spring

Before sharing spring décor ideas, let’s first take a look at the color palette we will use for spring, a harmonious mix of blue, green, light violet, beige, and orange. These colors emphasize life (blue and green) and vibrancy (violet). Also, the earthy tones like beige and orange evoke fresh new beginnings and warmer weather, which I think is what spring is really all about.

Now, here are spring décor ideas that you can get great inspo from to give your home a cohesive look.

1. Plants & flowers all around

Spring is a time when you can freshen your home by welcoming in some sunshine and letting plants and flowers bring joy to your space after experiencing the cold winter. Place plants in corners or on kitchen counters or arrange some potted plants on top of tables or the mantel.

2. Floral linen with a neutral-organic look

The easiest way to make your home give off the neutral-organic spring vibes is to change the linens, such as beddings, pillowcases, table cloths, and napkins. A mix of light checkered, striped, and floral light printed pillows in the same neutral-organic color palette will give your room an airy and homey feel.

3. Wood accessories

Include accessories in different sizes and shapes to create variety that will complement the greenery added to your space.

For a bare wall, I prefer an arch wall décor because it looks more interesting than a rectangular or round one, and there are usually some bronze details in an arch wall décor which gives it a rustic feel.

4. Botanical framed photos

Mount pretty botanical photos in warm color palettes (beige, orange, brown, and green) to make your walls look lively yet not overwhelming.

5. Brass accents for a warmer or earthy tone

As can be seen, brass complements the neutral spring décor very well because it creates a unique natural atmosphere that blends in with wood elements, making your space appear more organic.

Here you can see the right mix of brass and wood in the shelf. One or two brass elements are all it takes to improve the look.

6. Wicker

This is definitely a staple this spring as wicker gives texture and a homey feel to the space, perfect for spring vibes. Wicker trays and baskets are great options that you can mix and match with other spring décor. Touches of pale blue and green go perfectly well with wicker to exude a crisp garden fresh vibe.

7. Textured vases, pots, and jars

To complete the look, choose vases, pots, or jars with a unique and rough texture (example: terracotta/clay) that would look right at home in the entryway or on a coffee table or vanity.
